There's a new heavy hitter on the block and it's ability to take on very big tasks with a minimalist concept is intoxicating. I'm of course talking about the Flag Module. It's Object Oriented API has two basic tasks: flag and unflag. From this basic concept a whole slew of things can be done within Drupal and allows for a way to consolidate the functionality of (so far) a couple modules, like Views Bookmark and Flag Content, but has the potential to consolidate so much more. A Flag Friend module is in the works, a Subscription solution for Project Module has been discussed, and I'm sure even more that I've not heard of. So let's get together to share our ideas, successes and failures related to Flag Module while we play Capture the Flag!
