I'm interested, especially since I'm also writing a module that might just slightly be a bit related to data import as well. With a special interest in approaches to sharing import/export functionality (e.g. CCK mappings) between modules, and standardization of content type structure information. Hopefully there'll be a day when not every module has to reinvent CCK node import.
