I am, definitely. I'm working with a site that will need to pull in information from an external MSSQL database (our student information system). So, I guess I wouldn't be talking about forcing Drupal to use MSSQL, but to import/use data from MSSQL.
The issue is that D7 will use PDO and it's up in the air as to whether a viable PDO solution exists for SQL Server. Either way, I think it's still good to meet up and talk... I'm trying to get others involved, but Crell basically threw out there that if the SQL Server solution doesn't work with PDO then it's a dead issue (http://drupal.org/node/74308#comment-1212930).

I've got interest in MS SQL
I've got interest in MS SQL Server - I've worked in it extensively in the past, and I'm looking forward to seeing how to use it with Drupal 7.
Check out "the" thread
Hey guys (hi John, we've met at DBUG before),
Check out this ongoing thread, particularly at the last 30 or so replies: http://drupal.org/node/74308.
