Arif Emre Yarimbiyik
Software Developer
Emre joined Openband in 2007 fresh out of a Ph.D. program in electrical engineering. He has proven an apt Drupaler, though most of his contributions have been kept in house for custom projects. His Drupaling exploits include client-custom commits on modules like Webform, Password reset and members of the OG project.
Emre adds a unique perspective to problem solving. Before joining Openband, Emre, along with collegues from George Washington University and the Semiconductor Electronics Division of NIST, published a program for modeling the effective resistivity of nanometer scale film and line interconnects, NIST IR#7234. A background in physics and electrical engineering allows him to step outside of the all-to-familiar computer science frame of reference and attack a problem from a novel direction.
