Sandy Smith
Sandy, Manager of Technical Development at Forum One, has nine years experience building interactive Web sites with PHP, Perl, XML, Javascript, XHTML/HTML, and CSS. He even knows his way around a copy of Photoshop.
He has developed interactive applications for several Forum One clients including the US Environmental Protection Agency, the World Bank, PBS, USAID, the National Wildlife Foundation, the government of Qatar, the International AIDS Economics Network, International Youth Foundation, and Earth Force. Sandy also was the lead developer of Forum One's Live! Interviews Online software service. In addition to development work, for the last three years Sandy has managed Forum One's software team.
Prior to Forum One, Sandy worked with government, nonprofit, and commercial clients to define needs, organize information, and build targeted, successful Web sites. He has also served as a webmaster for several government Web sites, including implementing the first online conference at USAID. Sandy holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and has studied at the Jagiellonian University in Poland.
