Susanne Biermann studied computer science at the University of Rostock with a focus on computer graphics. After graduation in 2003 she participated in the International Certificate Program for New Media (ICPNM), a postgraduate program of study in Providence, US. During the next year she was employed at Anova Multimedia Studios GmbH. In 2006 she went back to the University of Rostock to work as a research assistant. Susanne Biermann joined the project "Transfer-Net" in July 2008. Besides other activities she is responsible for the technical implementation of the Transfer Net internet platform.
