Brian Fending is the Senior Developer at BuildingGreen, LLC, a publishing company focused on delivering decision-making information to builders, architects, designers and other professionals devoted to improving the built environment. BuildingGreen is the publisher of Environmental Building News, BuildingGreen Suite (www.buildinggreen.com), Green Building Advisor (www.greenbuildingadvisor.com), the several faces of the High Performance Buildings Database (eere.buildinggreen.com - for which he is the technical lead) and the GreenSpec Directory of green products.

He is a programmer/architect with extensive IT and business analyst experience and an interest in emerging and green technologies. His roles in various industries have been of increasing responsibility and are progressively strategic in nature.
