Over the past years I have pursued a passionate involvement in ICT for Human Rights projects. I undertake this with the belief that new technologies, implemented conscientiously, can enhance the performance of any organization and contribute to social justice. I am trying to be a proactive agent of change through the creative application of open source solutions and the promotion of innovative thinking in every day practices.

I currently work for Human Rights Watch, one of the world’s leading independent organizations dedicated to defending and protecting human rights. I am also behind Qantati, a project that will achieve Beta state during the Fall 2009, and that aims to offer a collection of open source tools for civic groups and social organizations.

In my spare time I enjoy futile attempts to improve my chess game, playing with my daughters 2.0, and juggling.
