35 years in software development, non-profit systems development and support, database development and use, etc. Worked mostly in or with non-profits. Spent the last ten years as the I.S. Director at SERRV International. Now working on special software development projects for SERRV after retiring for awhile.

SERRV International is a 501(c)3 Fair Trade company that supports about 120 Fair Trade artisan and farmer groups (mostly co-ops) in over 40 developing countries by assisting in product development, buying their inventory, and re-selling it to the retail, church, non-profit and wholesale market through direct mail and a web catalog. SERRV also raises donated funds to help artisan groups with production and community development grants.

We are currently using Drupal to develop an artisan-support site funded by an Ebay grant that will offer artisans an opportunity to interact, share problem solutions, learn more about the US market, get SERRV developed information about business operations and development, etc.
