There has recently been a lot of activity around i18n. The module just got some much needed attention and a 1.0 release is now out for Drupal 6. There will be an i18n code sprint for core going on in the next couple of weeks.

This BOF will be to discuss these latest updates and discuss the future of i18n in Drupal. I will also be able to give a demo of how we are implementing localization at Sony.
