John Snow is currently a student majoring in Computer Engineering at Utah State University. He has been tinkering with web development for about 10 years. This has given him experience with web-based technologies such as Perl, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript. He has obtained experience in other programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Verilog, and Assembly through his college education. As part of his senior project, John will be using Drupal in an embedded system to provide web-based user interface to a home automation system. After using Drupal to create several websites in 2007, John became involved in Drupal development by participating in Google Summer of Code 2008 on the Embed Widgets project. John stays involved with Drupal by working for ZivTech.
