Raised by Komodo dragons on the Isle of Komodo, John developed a particular style of martial arts that is entirely his own. Learning to communicate with humans on the streets of Bombay, and against all precedent, he fought his way from the Dalit (or "untouchable") caste to become a Brahmin.

Later on, he forsook violence altogether to become a desert monk, and after a short stint as an itinerant tinker, he committed his life to the liberation of capitalism from itself.
