What does Phase2 do and how do you work with Drupal?

Phase2 is a web application development and consulting firm. We build large scale web solutions and sites and manage them for our clients, primarily in Drupal, which we have been using since 2005.

What type of websites do you specialize in?
Our work is primarily focused on these verticals: non-profits and associations, online publishing, real estate and international development organizations. Generally, we gravitate to larger projects with interesting technical problems to solve or a large amount of data to play with.

Being DC-based, what advice do you have for other Drupalers coming to the city?

Washington is a unique city, with politicos as our celebrities. In addition to being DC-based, we even have a few staff who are actually from these parts (they say we don’t exist) so please feel free to ask us for information. One of the great things about DC is all there is to see and do for absolutely free or very cheap. A few staff favorites are the Museum for Women in the Arts, the Hirshorn Sculpture Garden, the recently reopened Museum of American History, The Newseum and the National Museum of the American Indian. Washington has food and drink from all over the globe, but we enjoy some of the best Ethiopian and Vietnamese restaurants on the east coast, so definitely give one a try.

What are you most looking forward to at DrupalCon DC?

In addition to great sessions, we are looking forward to meeting new people passionate about Drupal and kicking back with them at the parties.
