Come hear Acquia's leadership team - Dries Buytaert, Jay Batson and Tom Erickson - talk about how Acquia is supporting customers today. We will provide an overview of Acquia's support model for all of Drupal 6.x and our vision looking forward. Drupal Dojo

Abstract:

On the Saturday following the conference, josh_k will be helping conference presenters and others with tips, tricks and demos to share sign into the Drupal Dojo's live screen-sharing system (DimDim), and to record screencasts of their work. We'll have a workstation available for recording, and we'll distributing DimDim logins to any interested participants.

Our goal for this event is to collect valuable video documentation from popular presentations - a quick screencast is often a lot easier to follow than the video from the back of the room - and to "open up" the Saturday code sprint for more outside participation.

Everyone can join in the documentation sprint. You don't even need to write documentation if you don't want to; we have lots of different tasks from simply reading handbook pages to coding modules. You don't even need to know how to install Drupal! As a matter of fact if you are new to Drupal or an aspect of Drupal (like first time with Views or theming) you are an extra valuable resource and we'd love your help.

While we have lots of ideas lined up to get you started, you can also focus on work that you've wanted to dive into with a supportive group to bounce ideas and ask questions. The system administrator for drupal.org gives a rundown on the current infrastructure. This will cover web node configuration, centralized management, the database cluster and relations with the Open Source Lab. Included in this will be plans for the future and how drupal's infrastructure will be modified to respond to growth and new technology.
